Gateway Village is a five-block, mixed-use, urban project totaling 1,110,000 SF and a 2,700-car parking deck wrapped with multi-family residential, ground floor retail and an award winning centerpiece green space connecting the two main office buildings. The $450 million project was developed by Bank of America and Cousins Properties and designed by Duda/Paine Architects and HKS Architects. Gateway Village has been the catalyst for west end development in Charlotte. ColeJenest & Stone provided civil engineering, landscape architecture and urban design on seven overall projects, including managing and implementing the artist’s vision for the water feature.
