The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association relocated their corporate headquarters from Minneapolis, Minnesota to Charlotte, North Carolina. The entire 63-acre campus is located west of downtown on Billy Graham Parkway. The project was developed in two simultaneous phases and included complete perimeter security including electronic surveillance and 24-hour security at the primary and secondary vehicular entrances. Phase I was the construction of a four-story, 202,000 SF, corporate office facility. Phase II included a two-story, 75,000 SF per floor museum/library building shell. The facility was designed to attract visitors from all over the United States. Multiple surface parking lots are situated on the site in such a way as to maintain the natural characteristics of the property as much as possible. The museum/library parking area accommodates approximately 250 spaces and bus parking.
