Happy National Intern Day! At ColeJenest & Stone, we value our interns and provide hands-on experience with active projects to prepare them for life after graduation.
Our Charlotte office is fortunate to have three interns this summer. Pictured (at left) from left to right:
Bradley Decker is majoring in Civil Engineering at UNC Charlotte. His favorite part of his internship was designing storm networks using drainage areas, stormwater detention, water quality calculations, and hydraulic analysis.
Frances Miramon majored in Civil Engineering and is a graduate of the University of Mississippi. She is interning with us while completing the Master of Urban Design program at UNC Charlotte this fall. Her favorite experience here has been site planning.
Justin Bambach is majoring in Landscape Architecture at the University of Kentucky. His favorite experience with us was a series of site plans for a residential project and the opportunity to attend pre-submittal meetings and hear client feedback.
Our Raleigh office has been fortunate to have April Blye and McKenna Marquart (pictured left and right, respectively) working with us for the past year and a half. Their hard work and contribution to our Raleigh office has been invaluable.
April is a Civil Engineering student at NC State University. Her favorite part of her time with us has been getting to work on a variety of projects and seeing different parts of the design process. April says the real-world experience she’s gained at CJS has helped her to be more successful in her college classes.
McKenna is a Biological and Agricultural major with an Environmental concentration at NC State University. She is also pursuing a graphic communications minor. Her favorite part of her internship is the wide variety of projects she’s been able to work on, as well as the wide variety of skills she’s learned working on different projects.
