What a fantastic turnout at the 2019 ULI Carolinas’ Meeting in Raleigh this year! More than 700 real estate professionals from across the Carolinas gathered in Raleigh on February 11 and 12 for the 6th annual Urban Land Institute’s Carolinas’ Meeting.
It was an inspiring, information-packed few days where we met with and heard stories of businesses creating meaningful change in their communities. Keynote sessions included a discussion with futurist Jack Uldrich on the trends shaping the future of business, Zipcar Co-Founder Robin Brown discussed the current and future state of transportation, and George Karayannis of Panasonic’s CityNOW Initiative led a discussion on public-private partnerships providing enhanced community resiliency for single family, multi-family and mixed-use development. Some local panelists included Trish Healy of Hyde Street Holdings, Tom Toomey of UDR – Opening Doors to your future, and Ed Walter of ULI. We’re so thankful to be in this mix with this talented group of professionals. Until next year ULI!
